Some users may experience Design Manager or the cursor to flicker or pulsate when in the system. This is usually due to having multiple monitors and each of the screens DPI (dots per inch) differs from one another.
This fix is very simple as the user would have to go into their control panel and adjust the DPI settings to match each other.
For Windows 10, go into control panel and search for “Display Settings” or right click on desktop and choose “Display Settings”
Once there, you’ll see a menu appear, be sure to choose “Display” and you’ll see a slider where you can change your DPI settings. ***your default settings may have a recommended setting, however both screen sizes must match in order to fix the issue.
Windows 8 DPI settings can be found within the Control Panel - All control panel items – Display.
It is also a good idea to check “Let me choose one scaling level for all my displays” to be sure the scaling is set correctly for all displays.
For Windows 7 Users, these settings can be found within Control Panel – Appearance and Personalization – Display. Be sure to check the desired percentage for both monitors and select “Apply”.
