This problem can have two causes:

  1. The user is not typing the https in front of the website:
  2. The computer is not able to resolve IP addresses to the domain name.  For example, if at the command prompt the user were to type NSLOOKUP it should resolve to, if it does not it means that the there is problem with the TCP/IP DNS Server settings or your ISP is having a problem with their DNS resolution.  Try restarting the computer to obtain a fresh IP address and DNS server addresses from the ISP.
