Error 13 Type Mismatch

This error can occur in different places throughout the software and is not tied to one particular function or window in the software. In order to resolve this error, information would have to be provided on exactly which portion of the software the error is occurring and exactly how the data is being typed in to the software (if applicable).

This error normally occurs due to invalid data typed into a field.  For example:  A date field with an incorrect date value such as 2/31/05 or a dollar amount with non-numeric characters in the field.  Check your data entry carefully, normally the software should detect such mistakes, if you find a field that is not being error checked properly, please notify technical support so that a patch can be issued.

This error can also occur due to garbled file formats such as a badly garbled SIF file that is being imported.  This can also occur when uploading a scanner in the data collection system if the data in the scanner becomes garbled or the connection is bad between the scanner docking station and the computer (dirty contacts, etc.).
