On the Specifications Window, click the Search Button.

Professional (Pro 7 + higher)

Standard (DM2011 +higher)

Click the drop down menus to start selecting your parameters and then use the fields to type in your search requirements.

Click Find and you will see the Items and Components appear on the grid.

Scroll up and down or left to right to see all the information on those Items and Components.

Clear: The Clear button will return all the Criteria Selections to <none> and remove all the Specifications from the Specification Search Grid.

Print: The Print button allows the user to print several different reports including:

Items and Components Report which lists both Items and Components, essentially displaying all the information on the Specification Search Grid.

Items with Profit which displays the Item Description, Estimated and Actual Cost, Price, and Profit, Gross Profit % and Mark Up % amounts for the listed Items only.

Components with Profit - Item Subtotal which lists the Item Description, Component Type, Vendor, Estimated and Actual Cost, Price, and Profit, Gross Profit % and Mark Up % amounts for the listed Components - subtotaled by Item.

Go To:  Clicking the Go To button will launch the Projects and Specifications Window and position the Specifications Tree and Grid to the selected Specification on the Specification Search Grid.

Choosing the Export button will allow you to save ALL fields generated by the Search as a CSV file. This file can then be opened in Excel and will show ALL columns as seen on the Spec Search window. In Excel, you can now edit/remove any of these columns to generate a report as you wish to see it.
